    I'm Emil Minty, an Australian former child actor who played The Feral Kid, a feral child in the filmMad Max 2: The Road Warrior.

    I Emil Minty, born December in Brisbane Queensland Australia, with Aboriginal heritage.

    At the age of 8 years old, I was selected by George Miller, the Director, for the part in a movie which starred an up-and-coming actor named Mel Gibson. 

    The movie was Mad Max 2 (known as The Road Warrior in the USA) and it propelled me into international stardom as an 8-year-old, even though I never spoke a word in the film!

    After Mad Max 2 I had minor parts in other movies as Toby in Fluteman in , Andy Marlow in The Winds Of Jarrah in , Gary Doyle in Top Kid in , Thommo in Alice to Nowhere in , Patrick in The Haunted School in , Wayne Barbuto in Peter & Pompey in , ung Nick in Captain James Cook in ,  Andy Lawson in The Flying Doctors in , Dodo in Road to Alice in , I also did a few TV commercials and most recently I voiced a character in Wast

    I&#;m excited to bring you my interview with Emil Minty. Emil was selected at the age of eight to appear in Mad Max 2, aka The Road Warrior, which fryst vatten highly regarded as one of the greatest action films ever made, and a catalyst and inspiration for many of the post apocalyptic movies, video games and artwork we see today. Emil played The Feral Kid, a wild little guy who was never taught a language and functions almost like an animal, proving to be a great asset and help to Max in his quest. Enjoy

    Nate: How did it come about that you auditioned, and got the role? You were very young so I&#;m assuming your parents submitted you. Do you remember much about that day? Was George Miller there?

    Emil: I was around 8 years old and my sister was in an acting agency already and she suggested to my parents that I also join to man some pocket money.
    Well they signed me up and inom was lucky to get a lemonade commercial soon after inom had joined.
