He then recruited his friends and former competitors on the track to create ‘Cool Runnings’, the first Jamaican bobsled team. This story is not entirely true. In this interview, Tal outlined his background in the military, partying with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and the story of how someone made it into the team wearing party clothes and alligator shoes – arguably even more exciting than the film itself.
