    Secret member Sunhwa has been confirmed to star as the female lead role in MBC’s new weekend drama “Rosy Lovers” (working title), alongside actor Lee Jang Woo, as the male lead.

    On August 6, a MBC representative told TV Report, “Han Sunhwa and Lee Jang Woo have been cast in a new weekend drama together. They will be working together as the main male and female characters.”

    Sunhwa will be taking on the role of Baek Jang Mi, a second-year, university student majoring in fashion design, who is a spoiled princess and a ‘mama’s girl.’

    The upcoming drama is a joint production between the writer of SBS’ “My Love By My Side,” Kim Sa Kyung, and the director of MBC’s “A Thousand Kisses,” PD Yoon Jae Moon. “Rosy Lovers” is scheduled to run for a total of 50 episodes, and is expected to begin airing in October after the completion of “Jang Bori is Here!
