Best known for his portrayal of the iconic DC Comics' antihero Deadshot, Michael Rowe's first passion was music. A native of St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, after ten years as songwriter and drummer for the post-hardcore/punk band Bucket Truck and sharing the stage with the likes of NOFX, Slayer, Fishbone and D.O.A., he found himself at a crossroads. The breakup of the band sent him west to Vancouver where his brother, Andrew, was beginning his career as a filmmaker. New to film, Michael began producing and performing in his brother's digital comedy shorts. Their short film "Sleepy Stories" became a film festival favorite, followed by the Whistler Film Festival/MPPIA supported and award-winning "Vehicular Romanticide".
With a new focus, and after a short stint at The Actor's Foundry in East Vancouver, Michael landed a recurring role as the popular super villain Deadshot on the hit CW series Arrow. His background in comedy helped him bring

Michael Rowe (born ) is an American television writer, producer and comedian. He has written for Becker, The Nanny, Futurama, American Dad!, Paranormal Action Squad, Rick and Morty and Family Guy,[1] as well as writing the episode of The PJs, "A Race to His Credit".
In , Rowe received an Emmy Award for his work on The Late Philip J. Fry.[2]

Michael Rowe was born in England in and studied at the Royal College of Art, London. He has had solo exhibitions and contributed to numerous international exhibitions in Europe, Scandinavia, United States and the Far East. In Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery presented a major retrospective of his work.
